About
Fay is an HCPC-registered physiotherapist and member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy with experience across a wide range of clinical settings. Throughout her career, she has worked within multiple areas of physiotherapy including musculoskeletal rehabilitation, respiratory physiotherapy, neurology, elderly care, orthopaedics, medicine, and general rehabilitation.
Alongside her clinical work, Fay also works within academia, lecturing at university level and supporting the development of future physiotherapists. Her combined clinical and teaching experience supports a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation.
Fay has experience supporting individuals following illness, surgery, reduced mobility, and hospital admission, with a focus on helping patients improve confidence, physical function, and independence within the home environment.
Approach to Rehabilitation
Fay takes a practical and supportive approach to rehabilitation, tailoring treatment to each individual’s presentation, goals, and home environment.
Her sessions commonly focus on mobility, balance, strength, breathing capacity, and functional movement to support day-to-day independence. This may include rehabilitation following surgery, illness, respiratory conditions, falls, or periods of reduced mobility.
Fay believes rehabilitation should be progressive, realistic, and meaningful to the individual. She works collaboratively with patients, families, and carers where appropriate to support safe progression and ongoing confidence between sessions.
